Wiipower, i installed cIOS56rev20 and it fails badly , i get that message right after i press launch .
I replaced it with rev19[56] lasts longer before i get it but i still get the error .
I tried with both channel installation and boot.dol from SD . If there's a .wip patch on the SD it's not found , i noticed that in the launch log

I use neogamma r9 b47 and when I load monster hunter tri from my usb it loads then shows the wiimote screen than checking system memory and then black screen pl hellp

Quick question! Ive been trying to load Sonic Colors for quite a while, but no luck so far. I have both uLoader 5.1D and Neogamma r9 b47 (ios 249, rev 21). It starts out ok on a new game, but either freezes on the second stage or (more commonly) freezes when trying to load a save. Am i missing anything obvious? Most of my backups work fine, except for Colors and Kirby's Epic Yarn. Both have smooth gameplay while it lasts, but suddenly cuts to a "Disk could not be read" error. Should I try installing cIOS56rev20?

Try with the latest NeoGamma release (R9 beta 48) and with the cIOS rev21 d2x v4 final. If that doesn't work, I'd suggest you to try with other backups, maybe these ones are corrupted.

I installed the latest version hoping that I could play backup Game Cube games (DVD-R). I tried with Fuji (Ritek) DVD+R, failed all three times. (Twice with Game cube ISO, ones with wii ISO). Then I tried with a new Verbatim DVD-R (Kaleidoscopic), and that failed too. It says my drive was made in 2008. Then I type my serial number in that website and it says

Your drive most likely has the following chipset:
There is a 75% chance the chipset is Combined GC2-D3 with no drive chip.
And there is also a 25% chance the chipset is GC2-D3-2 (v2) with no drive chip.
This mean I have no hope of running GC backups?

Oh well, any cheap to run GC backups?

Requirements for gamecube backup launching from disc with NeoGamma:
- A Wii with a backup compatible drive(if the wii is not white, it's not backup compatible, backup resistant white Wiis were sold since christmas '09, no backup disc compatible Wiis in the shelves anymore 1-2 months later). Easy test: In the latest NeoGamma, remove disc from the drive and select launch game from disc. You will get a read error. If it doesn't say anything about your drive, then it should be old enough.

When I try to do that without the DVD this is what I get

DVD Error (1220) , Disc ID
Drive date 20080714
And then it goes to next message

Most likely no DVD-Rs possible :-(
Guess, my drive is not old enough, should I keep on trying next few steps.
My wii is white bought it during Jan1-10, 2010. Had 4.2U.

Thank you Wiipower

Wii not white, or wii bought in 2010 or later -> no DVD-Rs. And the message in NeoGamma only is confirmation enough on its own.

hi i have a black wii sport resort
my friend has installed it neogamma r8 - v17
today i downloaded 3 games
mortal kombat armageddon
cars 2
super mario galaxy 2

i have 8 gb & 1 tb usb disk
i used to wii game manager to convert iso to wbfs and write to disk

super mario works on both disks
cars 2 works only 8 gb disk
mortal kombat didn't work on both.

cars 2 works on 8 gb but says "timeout error" in 1 tb disk but i see 1tb disk is faster than 8 gb while copying the game
