R9 beta development progress:
Ocarina won't be possible for backups, because the dvd read code is using the memory the code handler needs
Added retail disc support(but currently no auto-detection)
Attempt at fixing some video mode problems(retail MP2 didn't work at it, it says it needs PAL60, booted with the now fixed PAL50, it works... Forcing PAL60 currently doesn't work for any game)

Okay, I am using GC-Tool Version 1.20 but if you have a better one then please let me know. Now I am going to extract USA_NES_ZELDA1.TGC then rename it to .dol ?

WiiPower, would you kind to help me out ?

Okay, sorry about that.

I already know that those two games are available on virtual Console but they arent working at all on wiigator backup launcher v0.3 with Zelda Collector's Edition. Those two wont run for neogamma also. But zelda wind waker demo, Ocarina of Time, and Majora Mask works fine on backup launcher v0.3.

No, zelda wind waker demo, ocarina of time, and majora mask doesnt work on Neogamma either. Now, only two nes games wont work on backup launcher v0.3.

so the games from bali are already copied disks or what ?

then it's probably your pc dvd drive that can't read the wii disk ...

It isn't that simple. There aren't many drives that can read a Wii disc. It's best to rip via a USB loader like GX or CFG.

also its like a month old computer its brand new i dont see how it could npt identify it

Normal computer manufacturers don't care to include support for Nintendo Optical Discs in their drives (The only use is for pirates or other obscure tasks). By customizing your computer or buying a special drive that plugs in to your computer, you can read Nintendo Optical Discs (AKA Wii and Gamecube Game Discs). A popular drive that can do this is the LG-8164b.

More simple : the fact that Windows can read the content of a disc is not in relation of how old is your computer !

Windows can't read Wii disc. That's all.

Only a Wii disc drive can read a Wii disc content (except some... exceptions

)...

I thought burned wii discs can be read by most dvd drives? Isn't there a WBFS manager that allows to read DVD-Rs directly and skip .iso?

the fs can be read...as there already is a driver available for some months to do so...unrelated to reading the filesystem, YES any drive should be able to rip a burnt disc, but not explore its contents without that driver I mentioned.

Thanks, i think the ripping is the important thing here. If anybody wants to explore the filesytem, he should use WiiScrubber or some other disc extractor.

Makes the MIOS boot the GC .dol located in the NeoGamma folder on sd
card(sd:/NeoGamma/GC.dol). This is can be used for example to use WiiGator's
0.2 GC backup launcher instead of the modified version NeoGamma uses

I'm using GC-Tool Version 1.20.

Click FILE>OPEN GC ISO>The Legend of Zelda: Collector's Edition

There is structure
+GCMROOT then -GCMROOT and you have this:
+tgc then -tgc file open and you have this list:
.
.
......majora_ENG_091003.tgc
.
.
......USA_NES_ZELDA1.tgc
.
.
......USA_NES_ZELDA2.tgc

so on... Should I extract file.tgc and rename it to file.dol and located in the NeoGamma folder on sd ?
