Great application but would be complete with that.
Annoying that some games require them to be patched with ios249.
Would be great to have it inbuilt.

Ok I found a bug, maybe some1 knows how this is happening.

On a NON-LU64 Wii I can run Grand Slam Tennis smoothly

Installed:

cIOS38rev13a
cIOSCorp

But with a LU64, I get to the Grand Slam Tennis loading screen, then I get some weird graphics bug at the bottom of the screen, then it restores and after the restore the Wii freezes.

Installed on LU64:

cIOS38rev13a
SoftCorp IOS21-61

Maybe this is an IOS bug?
Tried R3 Channel and R4 Channel.

No worries, i won't do a facelift to it.

But as soon as there's working banner display code, i will consider joining/creating a team with a loader that uses that(and only that and not these stupid covers).

Yeah, I don't like the whole cover loader business. Currently I just use the simple GUI USB loaders like UNiiloader, or Game channels.

As for banner display code, I suspect that might get somewhere eventually. Icefire, Squidman, those workijng on benzin etc are apparantly making much progress on banner similation and creation (on PC), and I'm thinking that can probably be ported to the wii.

Here is another simple "NeoGammaChannel". (R6)
It works by using the comex-nand-loader.
The images are animated and there is a sound-loop, too.
The base wad is from the Base-Wad-Database (wadder.net). I hope this is legal enough for you, otherwise delete my posting, please!

Icon: white background, logo constantly slow-zooms in and out.
Banner: background image constantly slow-zooms in and out, logo on top constantly slow-zooms in and out opposite direction to background.

I have recently started to use NGBL, since I started having problems with my backed up Grand Slam Tennis. WiiPower, you've done a pretty good job with this. Kudos.

I have one question with relation to compatiblity with Preloader and "Rebooter". I recently installed preloader and noticed that the "Rebooter" option no longer works and gives me memory dump. Is there a way for you to
a. Make it compatible with Preloader OR
b. Include a way disable the "Rebooter" on press B option - user savable choice OR
c. Make the rebooter option a press A and include it like Gecko OS does as one of the menu item choices.

The reason I am asking for this is, that when others use my Wii and enter the NGBL channel, the first thing they read is press B for Rebooter and instinctively press it and it gives them a memory dump. I am afraid that if this happens a lot, it may cause some damage in long term. So better disable the option of Rebooter.

Ok so I installed the autoloader channel yesterday. Fabulous idea! I withdraw suggestions b and c above. If you think its important enough, try to make the rebooter compatible when preloader is installed. Thanks for the great product and your efforts.

Why not just start writing standalone/forwarder hybrids? If the .dol to be forwarded on sd card is found, then forward, else take the .dol that's integrated. It's not that complicated, and would replace both kinds of channels.

Just unpack the NeoGammaChannel-UNGC_NewIcon.wad.

Than you will have a folder called "00010001554e4743".

Than rename your forwarder.dol to 00000002.app an replace it with the one from the unpacked channel.

Now you can pack the files back into a wad. Ready is your own forwarder!

Also you can use the wadder for this work (if you can`t do this manually), too.

Sorry, I can`t write a nice forwarder for you!
You`ll need a forwarder for apps with hundreds of revisions.
The NeoGamma will be like the BackupLauncher and therefor a simple channel is sufficient.
