I don't really get the purpose of this. Are you able to boot backup gamecube games with this? Because I'm not even able to boot a retail PAL GC game on a PAL Wii. With a Backup game the Wii reboots and with a retail game I just get a black screen

if you have a RETAIL game then run it like you normally would from the disk channel not the backup loader it kinda defeats the object!


update to REV 13 .... rev 9 is probably whats causing you problems with backups!

Here is another simple "NeoGammaChannel". (R6)
It works by using the comex-nand-loader.
The images are animated and there is a sound-loop, too.
The base wad is from the Base-Wad-Database (wadder.net). I hope this is legal enough for you, otherwise delete my posting, please!

Icon: white background, logo constantly slow-zooms in and out.
Banner: background image constantly slow-zooms in and out, logo on top constantly slow-zooms in and out opposite direction to background.

Yeah I know, it was just to test if it's working... So normally you can play backup gamecube games with this loader?

But as soon as there's working banner display code, i will consider joining/creating a team with a loader that uses that(and only that and not these stupid covers).

I have recently started to use NGBL, since I started having problems with my backed up Grand Slam Tennis. WiiPower, you've done a pretty good job with this. Kudos.

I have one question with relation to compatiblity with Preloader and "Rebooter". I recently installed preloader and noticed that the "Rebooter" option no longer works and gives me memory dump. Is there a way for you to
a. Make it compatible with Preloader OR
b. Include a way disable the "Rebooter" on press B option - user savable choice OR
c. Make the rebooter option a press A and include it like Gecko OS does as one of the menu item choices.

The reason I am asking for this is, that when others use my Wii and enter the NGBL channel, the first thing they read is press B for Rebooter and instinctively press it and it gives them a memory dump. I am afraid that if this happens a lot, it may cause some damage in long term. So better disable the option of Rebooter.

I got no icon.png for NeoGamma R6, that's it. Just get one, or make one.
