When using a loader, there's absolutely no point in using cIOSrev13b. One can argue there's reason for rev15 or 16, but 13b is pointless. Use rev13a instead, this will make some more games compatible.

So, rev13a is good? Better than rev15 for my purposes?

Hi there,
I have been trying to load my NeoGamma, but lately it just won't boot up.
I click on the load button and the next thing you know, all i get is a blank, black screen. Nothing more!
I tried downloading a new file and put it on my SD card, but I get the same results. The other backup launcher does the same thing too.

All the other apps (like emulators, etc.) on my HBC work perfectly... except NeoGamma. Any idea why this could be happening? Anyone have any suggestions to try?
I'm sorry if this has been covered elsewhere... i'm stuck and don't know what else to do.

I am using a NTSC Wii with system software 4.2.

I also have neogamma, so it's the same situation for me, but I also have Uloader and I can't get neither of them to work with my 8GB USB flash Drive which I formated too NTFS. Also, if anyone could reply back with any ideas on what I should do! like, maybe, change cIOS to something? or Rev15 something? I would greatly appreciate it since I have no idea on what exactly I'm trying to figure out, but all I know is I can't get Neogamma to work and I already tried google and it lead me here.

rev13a plays most games and is DL compatible. (i'm not sure if there are games it is not compatbile with, ... with the known exceptions of course)
rev14's only issue is broken DL support(and missing BCA code)
rev15 isn't compatible with disc channel and loaders that really try to imitate its loading results(==>Sam & Max and FarCry are not compatible, also missing BCA code)
rev16 has broken DL support, breaks Gecko OS/NeoGamma's launcher code, but supports BCA...

Pick the one you like, i prefer rev14, well from Waninkoko's cIOS. I think if i would play more Wii, i would switch to Hermes cIOS.

Finally got Neogamma to find my usb codes! my process was:

1.Neogamma R8 beta15 on the FAT partition of my WBFS drive (since my SD Slot took a crap)
2.Put the codes on a FAT formatted USB stick in the opposite usb slot of my WBFS drive
3.Booted up Neogamma,loaded game through WBFS with ocarina on and bingo!

Did you read that uLoader or Neogamma support NTFS? I did not. Try WBFS.

Yeah, it launches disc. I usually use it with uLoader.

NeoGamma + cIOSrev16 = timeout on EVERYTHING

Where does this version come from?

This comes from a spanish page wii.senebeta.com that have a lot of hackerz and they fix this neogamma without errors 001 and 002 and fully compatible with cios rev 15 so I have made the channel with wadder XD

All they did was comment out one line basically and compiled it after WiiPower told everyone exactly what line to comment out. Hardly anything 'hackerz' could only do. What caused the incompatibility was the fix for Sam & Max, which is what is commented out. Hardly anything massive.

i don't now if they hacked it or not. the point is that neogamma works with cios rev 15 with or without sam & max fix. so many people still have the error 001 with neogamma + cios rev 15. so with that neogamma they can fix it and play games as NSMBW and fifa 10 my intentions are to help people.

It's not hacked, I'm betting just one single line of code is commented (which is the Sam & Max fix). It won't work with rev 15 if the Sam & Max fix is enabled. But yeah, it'll work when it's commented out but it's not officially supported.

My test results:
wichoxp's cios199 rev15 (based on wanin's cios249 rev15) cannot launch wii games or gamecube games via NeoGamma R8 beta15 for cIOS199 (however still works with Triiforce r74 for cIOS199)

I edited wanin's cios249 rev 14 (only moved it to slot 199) and created
cIOS199 rev14 Mod
cIOS199 rev14 works with NeoGamma R8 beta15 for cIOS199 (can launch both Wii and GC games, GC games requires cMIOS and launcher also installed) and Triiforce r74 for cIOS199

so now users can use wanin's cios rev14 to play backup disks and triiforce (or whatever rev cIOS you want to install to that slot) and a different IOS to play usb launchers
