I burned Super Smash Bros Melee at 4x speed on a Maxwell DVD-r on my 4.3 LU58846 wii. When I launch neogamma, it gives me an error.
Could anyone help? I have cMIOS.

I think you may have on of those wiis that can't run DVDX. And I think you need to use one of the Gamecube Backup Menus.

Unless you didn't have that installed.

I forgot to install DVDX, I'll try that.
I installed Wiigators GC backup loader in a channel forum.

Skip DVDX that was never required for GC backups and only required for Wii games with cIOS rev5 and 6(i think). For gamecube backups start with the mini FAQ here:
http://gbatemp.net/t219243-neogamma-r9-beta-test

All other GC disc loaders for Wii are outdated.
Ok, I was kinda worried my wii drive couldn't launch backups.
Thanks.

Tried every method. Neogamma, wiigators, cMIOS patcher installed cmios v8, STILL NOTHING.

Currently reburning Maxwell DVD-R at slowest speed possible (4x)

Im starting to think its cause of my Wii drive.
Can your wii play legit disks?
Also try WiiMC and try playing a video DVD (if it is bought better)

Buy Maxwell DVD-R's
Burn SSBM at 4x speed, rom works on Dolphin
Install cMIOS
Download Neogamma
Run neogamma
Init drive.....
Error 1208

Are you happy?

It should say something more. What does the latest NeoGamma(R9beta47) say if you remove the disc and select launch disc?
