Homebrew NeoDS and Marvel Vs games

I've been looking up NeoDS (Doesn't seem to be much info here, and the lack of an integrated search (Google usually sucks since it only updates during spider crawls), and I've got all of these games converted besides the Marvel Vs games which are one of the reasons why I bothered to get NeoDS. In any case, is there a reason behind this?

First of all half of them show instead of .bins as .0#r files.
Secondly, the ones that ARE .bins still won't work
The error I get (Cmd'd to be able to catch errors), is "Failed to open parent: neogeo"


I've tried command line with bios2~6 a few different neogeo.zip's and all. The neogeo.zip I had got that was confirmed to work (From DS-Scene), doesn't work on these but does on the rest (Was a 'full' one with all kinds, etc, etc) now I downloaded another one (smaller) and it worked for KoF, but it didn't work for what matters Marvel vs Capcom/etc games.

Just so you know, the Versus series of games are Capcom games, they aren't neogeo games, so won't work full stop.

Thanks I was looking around and some people claimed it was a CPS game, others said they had it working fine despite that, so I got mixed messages.

Could you post direct links of some of the places where "they got it working?" I just checked through a couple of pages, and none of them say ANYTHING about getting CPS2 games (or even CPS... damn, i want those for my DS as well ... *sigh*) running on a DS. Hell, none of them say anything about non-NeoGeo games runing on NeoDS.

Did you actually read any of those pages? Or did you just see the links and make an assumption?

No, there was a page where someoen claimed he had ALL games working "Including mvsc", however I can't find it sadly because I use Opera and have my History settings on low, so I just included how I googled it. Maybe I'll search later, but the person who said it was probably either being sarcastic or didn't even try it anyway. So there's no point in any case I got the other fighting games, good 'nuff for me.


The only reason I really cared is because I have a 4yo brother who Loooooves marvel, and he'd love to play those on his DS for hours on end (I spent days playing MUGEN with him on PC, but unfortunately that's not exactly mobile ;])

Yeah I think NeoDS only works with Neogeo.
CPS1,CPS2, and CPS3 seem highly unlikely.

yup.. i strongly doubt that the games will work on neoDS dude

if only we had a CPS 1/2/3 emu, i would just SF3 all day =/
