Are you sure gamesaves become available again? I thought the uid.sys file was used to tell a game where it could find it's gamesaves.
I know an entry is automatically created if you launch a channel and the entry for it doesn't exist, but I thought it used a new location for it's gamesaves.
I wasn't going to delete the entries, but I just changed the first letter from the game id in the uid.sys file from a capital to a small letter.
If you launch the channel, neek2o will find the entry (even with the small starting letter) The system menu won't find that channel and won't use it's banner animation.
So, it works pretty much the same, but no new entry is created every time you launch the channel.
The channel will probably be hidden for the neek channelcache.bin as well, so it might fix the problem with 50+ nands some people are having.
The structure you use for wbfs games isn't supported. Also the wbfs games have to be on the partition that also contain the /sneek folder and emu nand(s) (which should be on the 1st partition)
The supported structures for wbfs files are:
/wbfs/GAMEID.wbfs
/wbfs/GAMEID_Game Name/GAMEID.wbfs
/wbfs/Game Name [GAMEID]/GAMEID.wbfs
Also the last attempt obcd did to fix this format isn't enough to make the format fully supported.
i'll test that tonight in like 20 min.. i just got mw3. an it's split in 2.Also the last attempt obcd did to fix this format isn't enough to make the format fully supported.
The one thing I haven't tested yet are splitted games (.wbfs and .wbf1) It's still better if you only need to rename those than all of them.
If my last attempt isn't enough, than it would be helpfull to know why not?
I see no reason why I wouldn't fix it.

i just tested it with r50 again. r50 doesnt have the long delay until the "press the a button" appears, like the newer revisions. but my nand is also on r50 pretty slow (for example i have to wait 10seconds until the health screen appears, i have to wait about 5-6 seconds until the screen switches from the wii messages back to the main screen). the time until the game appears in the disc channel is rather normal and the games do NOT have any noticable delay or lag either. but ive added my savegames to the nand, too.No, it should only scan the games and wbfs folder the first time and create the diconfig.bin file.
Are you having this only with rev. 53, or haven't you tested it with rev. 50?
It's basically just a change of the kernel.bin and di.bin files.
All other files should be compatible.
mw3 worked fine in neek2o, havent updated since release, this was unscrubbed(or what ever), it was a strait dump, from retail. so it came out a little over 4gb. sorry for late update got caught up playing co-op online with my older son.( no problems for me to get online, like mentioned in a couple of post). an since mine is running near perfec,(all channels filled with my wiiware/vc games) i will not update( don't care if there is a 5-6 sec delay, never noticed). thanks again overjoy/obcd.i'll test that tonight in like 20 min.. i just got mw3. an it's split in 2.Also the last attempt obcd did to fix this format isn't enough to make the format fully supported.
