Hacking Needing assistance with PS4 Demo unit

I've got a PS4 on 5.55 firmware, which is a kiosk demo unit. I've done a bunch of research regarding trying to remove the IDU from it, and there doesn't seem to be a way to do so without an exploit available (which I know doesn't exist for 5.55 at the moment).

I suppose I would just like confirmation that it's going to continue sitting as a brick unless an exploit magically comes out, or if there's a way I can start using it as a regular unit?
