I haven't been able to find a tool for reformatting to .nes files and .smc fils for them so if any one has a link or some thing to a tool for that some help would be appreaciated.

What exactly do you mean by "reformatting" *.nes and *.smc files? You format the card itself, which erases all the files on the card, but you don't format the files themselves.

Then please do tell how to change them, I haven't the slightest idea and I kind of want chrono trigger on my DS, (BTW the roms are currently all .RAR files.

1. Extract them with WinRAR (google)
2. Download emulators (.nds files) (google)
3. Put extracted files and emulators on card
4. DLDI patch if you need to (google)
5. Don't be disappointed when you see Chono Trigger doesn't work that well on the DS.

HOLD IT!
My definition of "well" does not include text changing color, jaggy scrolling, messed up layers (though most games have this), or text almost always being unreadable.

EDIT: Page would not respond double post.

Thanks myuusmeow, that helps me a lot, and yeah, it doesn't work as well as I hoped but oh well, it's not
really about the Graphics or speed it's about the awesomeness along with the joy of playing one of the best
16 bit era's RPGs on my DS.
