which version to buy(us or jpn)

Buy the US version.
The JP version's menu and manual are in japanese so you wont be able to understand anything.
Also make sure that you buy US region games because the 3DS is region locked.

buy games,just one or two(will be playing dsi/ds games only on it util the hack is availble)

The 3DS probably won't be compromised for at least two more years.
