Hacking Need serious help regarding N-CARD

I got the original n card (the old one first made) 8 giga (1giga)
and it won't save! doesn't matter what I do it doesn't save.. it might save but once u close the ds or put cartridge away it erases all the saves .. i tried putting the types to the games , mario kart 2 mega , its epic fail and doesn't work..
I tried installing DSLINK system on it .. still doesn't work..
anyone know a solution? i wanna fix this card for an old friend!

The battery inside the card probably failed. Unless you know how to solder, get a new flash card.
