249 or 289? I'm not positive, so wait for someone else to answer, but I think cioscorp turns every IOS into 249. I think I'm wrong. I'm pobably wrong. I'm possitive I'm wrong now. Am I wrong?

IOS249. CIOSCORP doesn't turn them all into 249, just patches them with the 01.app thing.

Could people with no idea at all stop posting information? There's no IOS249. Period. You want a cIOS36 installed as IOS249. Go to WiiGator's blog and get the installer and instructions from there.

It's not patch, the 00000001.app(the dip module, sometimes it's not 00000001) is replaced with the one from a cIOS36rev7. And that only for the IOS which are seperated into several contents, the older ones are replaced completely by i think it's Waninkoko's cIOS36rev7.
