Hi everyone,

I recently tried to install an RP2040-based Picofly into a brand-new Switch OLED, but unfortunately, the console doesn’t boot. Instead, I’m getting the error:

(eMMC init failure during glitch process)

I’ve checked the parameters, and they seem fine:

• A: 0.67

• B: 0.47

• C: 0.57

• D: 0.59

• SP1 & SP2: 25

What I’ve Tried:

1. Double-checked all solder points for potential cold joints or shorts.

2. Measured the points (A, B, C, D, SP1, SP2), which match recommended values.

3. Verified the flex cables are securely connected and not damaged.

4. Removed the modchip entirely – the console still doesn’t boot.

Additional Info:

• The Switch is brand-new, so hardware failure seems unlikely, but I haven’t ruled it out completely.

• I’m using the 2,73 firmware for the RP2040 .

• The payload might be glitching incorrectly, but I’m not sure how to test that further.

Questions:

1. Has anyone encountered this error before?

2. Could this be related to the glitch timing, and if so, what values should I try tweaking?

3. Is there a way to verify the eMMC integrity

4. Any tips for debugging this issue further?

I’ve been losing sleep over this and would really appreciate any advice or troubleshooting steps. If needed, I can provide pictures of the solder points and setup.

Thanks in advance
