So i am planning on using my wii u to play wii and gamecube games, and i want to use either a gamecube controller which wont work bc the wii u doesnt have the slot but i also have a 360 controller, is there anyway i could use it?
I dont have a strong enough pc to run emus so dont tell me pc is better, and i DO have a wii with the gamecube slots but to play the backups i only have one hard drive and thats what im using for the wiiu and i think you cant partition hard drives if you are planning on using it with the wii u.
To make everything simple, i want:
1.To be able to use a 360 on vwii and not buy an adapter
or
2.Be able to partition my hard drive and let the wii u still recognize it
Advice is appreciated :D

For gamecube you can download an emulator off the homebrew appstore and running roms saved to an sd card. You wouldn't be able to use a 360 controller as the wii u doesn't have xpad in it. Your Wii U must be on 5.5.0/5.5.1 to run homebrew

You can get a gamecube USB adapter if you want to use gamecube controller. You can also plug in a PS3 or PS4 controller. Just check the controller compatibility on the Nintendont page.
It's impossible to use Xbox 360 on vWii, it's not HID compatible.

You need either an SD card, flash drive, or USB HDD for vWii to play Wii and gamecube backups. You cannot share your wii u HDD.
I personally use an SD card for vWii, so I dont have to unplug anything.
