Need help with Camtasia Recorder

It didn't pick up to record while I use full screen mode to play game. It just capture my desktop screen. If Camtasia Recorder is not good enough for me to use full screen mode to play game, then what kind screen recorder does support full screen mode to play game? I am only one know recorder is Fraps. Does have other kind than Fraps or Fraps is only have support?

    It was my old PC way back in the day that I passed down to her when built mine. Was decent then, poop now. She never use it anyways, she use her iPad mostly.

    I use a Switch pro controller, its close to Xbox style, other than stupid A B X Y buttons reversed.
