Hacking Need help with AceKard 2i

I ordered an acekard 2i for my DSi from real hot things and got it in. Me not knowing any better put it straight in and it was working. Satisfied I turned it off, to load a game and when I did it wouldnt register.

I then proceeded to try this acekard on another friends DS (it was a DS lite I think since it had the the DS phat UI) and it would not show at all. And as of right now I was able to borrow another friends DSi.

DSi I borrowed was 1.4u

My version is 1.4.3u

can anyone help me pls?

or do I need the the first DS i Tried?

I only wanna play games with this girl I met who is a big pokemon fan <.<

Black2?White2, right? Your MicroSD was probably formatted incorrectly, leading to the Ak2i overwriting it's own bootloader by mistake.

1 - Re-flash your Ak2i.

It was black 2 <.< she has white 2..... So I format my microSD and then add the file on the guide and the DSi will go straight to BIOS looking screen?


EDIT::: Um ok I read through it and I need another working AceKard to perform this <.< is there no other way?

You need to do the unbricking step first, which needs two flash carts and an original DS or DS lite. Until you do this, the AK2i won't work.

Hmmm if I were to just buy another Acekard 2i what would be the steps to follow? Since it might actually be impossible for me to find someone with that particualar DS model and an AceKard

I wouldn't suggest another AK2i, since it stopped getting updates, so if you update a DSi or 3DS to the latest software, the AK2i will stop working and there is no update out to fix it.

ok ill give this a serious look. But in your opinion since you're the topic maker as a DSi owner on 1.4.3u and wants to play pokemon black2/white 2 which one should I get?

Well the DSTwo has a bunch of added features, but the R4i Gold is cheaper.
