ROM Hack Need help unbricking 3DS

I am trying to unbrick my 3DS through the magnet method. I forgot exactly how I bricked it, as it happened 2-3 years ago (I think I was trying to install Luma3DS)

I am up to Section 4, step 8 of this guide

Every time I press start to save the settings, it goes to a black screen and the 3DS will welcome me to a black screen after restarting. The boot.firm will work again if I delete the config file from the luma folder but the problem will still occur even if I don't tick any of the boxes and press start.

Can you launch Decrypt9/Hourglass9?

If so, try to do a ctrTransfer.
It sounds like you successfully managed to install boot9strap, but there is something wrong with your Nintendo 3DS Nand for example, some missing titles or whatever you messed up 2 years ago.
However keep in mind that you can lose all your data permanently while doing this procedure.
