i have a New 3ds xl, firmware 11.2.0-35 U and i have been trying to use soundhax, i have all of the files, the correct m4a file and the otherapp.bin which i made sure i renamed and was the right one for my firmware i have the homebrew starter kit. Ive tried maybe 50 times so far and all ive gotten were crashes, a few times the screen has changed colors but crashed right after. i have tried on my brothers n3ds which is on the same firmware and an old 3ds which was on 11.0 (i had put all the correct files for that 3ds too) and all three had no luck in booting into homebrew. i need help, anything im doing wrong?

ok hold on lmao

mkae sure you are using the correct otherapp.bin file, make sure its your firmware version and type of 3ds.

For my 3DS XL, I've triple checked my firmware version (11.20-35U), and made sure that the otherapp.bin file has been named correctly. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I suggest you remove the .bin file that isn't otherapp.bin as that may be causing some problems. Also try uninstalling VLC, it helps me if windows just sees bin files as bin files and not anything else.

The "N3DS_U_26624_usa_9221" file is the ropbin payload. JackD94, delete that file, it's not needed.

Also it looks like you didn't delete your existing "3ds" folder and copy the contents of the Homebrew Starter Kit to the root of your SD card and overwrite the boot.3dsx.
