Alright here's what happened. Friend of mine followed the guide and did everything correctly.
For future reference this is a Old Nintendo 3DS, it was on 11.3 and then updated to 11.4 after the guide told him to at the end.
Basically the SD card failed. ( Most likely it was not the size it says it was, ie cheap knock off)
The SYSNAND backup he has was made when he was told to make it via guide BUT it is 11.4 somehow or it is not reverting from 11.4 to the 11.3 backup.
Since the SD failed and no clone was made of it beforehand are we stuck until "ntrboothax" is released?
The system is usable. Not bricked. Godmode9 still works if he holds Start during boot. Luma still works if he hold Select during boot.
Is there any way to get it back to functioning/modded order?
HBL does not work. Soundhax doesn't work obviously (11.4) and FBI does not work (not installed) at the moment.
Any thoughts to point us in the right direction?
