how do you disable cheats by default?
by default does all the cheat get enabled?
is there a way to enable only a portion of cheats while in game?
Any way to edit the cheat files in atmosphere?

Go to Atmosphere/config_templates/system_settings.ini
or Atmosphere/config/system_settings.ini

Change:

; dmnt_cheats_enabled_by_default = u8!0x1
or
; dmnt_cheats_enabled_by_default = u8!0x0

to

dmnt_cheats_enabled_by_default = u8!0x0

Copy system_settings.ini from:

Atmosphere/config_templates/system_settings.ini

to

Atmosphere/config/system_settings.ini

whats the purpose of modifying then copying from the config_template's system settings than the actual system settings itself?

Or easy way is to unzip this file, and copy it to SD:/ atmosphere/ config ....It's my settings file already setup
