After waiting months for this release I end up getting stuck in the first world area.
So...
1) I've beat the first cave, revisited and acquired new items
2) Explored all of UR,
3) Went south to retrieve Arc, Defeated many skeletons in the mithril mines with no progress
4) Went west to be blocked by the man in front of the castle
5) Went north to not be able to access the cave beyond the water
6) and went southwest to find a giant rock blocking my path

WHAT DO I DO TO PROGRESS??? PLEASE HELP!

Nope, I even went to gamefaqs.com to find the answer

It said to goto the small patch of desert to find an airship.... unless if the airship looks like a mountain, there is no airship. Does this airship just appear or do i run around to be "attacked" by it??

Did you walk in to the desert area right next to the ghost town?
You might need to speak to Cid first though, he tells you that he hid an airship in the desert.
And Cid is in the ghost town by the way.

I take it you havent spoken to Cids ghost yet in the inn....

You actually managed to survive the skeletons when you first visited the mithril mines? They all one hit me in that mine the first time I went in there (before I talked to cid as well)

Anway, the undead go down quite easily with holy arrows, cure, various healing stuff, and a little surprise that lies waiting for you at the castle to the west

Well im actually about 3 hours in the game now and I meant back then. I did know cure is effective vs undead, but when they got the first strike and killed 3 of my party members in one hit. I decided not to return at that time ;P
