ROM Hack Need Help Hacking Platinum Sprite

Hello wonderful community. I was wonderin' if some of you might help me. I'm trying to edit the look of a shiny Raichu to make it darker and cooler. I googled how to hack diamond and pearl, but using that process doesn't work for me :/ I'm thinkin' it's cus I'm trying to hack Platinum instead. I made my png file, I just need help making the game show it. Thanks all : ]



Edit: I managed to find a modified Poke Ds/Pic program that claims to decrypt the specially encrypted Platinum. However, now the images don't display properly. I would really enjoy some help here, guys : ]

I think you have on youtube some tutorials.....just enter pokedspic and that's it.....
