I've got $80 that I can spend. But, there're two things I want/can get. My question to everyone else is:

Should I go for a PS2 or a PSP?

Now, first off, here's the deals I can get.
PSP(I'm assuming it's a 1000) - $60
With that $60, I'd get Grand Theft Auto Vice City, Thrillville, Daxter, and Ultimate Board Game Collection.

PS2: $50
along with 9 games(can't see what they really are in the), and a light blue controller, plus 2 memory cards.

Problem is, I'm assuming I can only get one, since this on craigslist.

I've thought hard about it, but I just can't seem to decide. Any help is welcome.

PS2 has cheaper and generally better games. The PSP has a few good games but are essentially pocket versions of PS2 or PS3 games, and thusly not nearly as expansive. And a PS2 is cheaper and you can get used games very cheap.

PSP CFW can play PS1 games~ Plus, it's portable! What's not to love?
You can watch movies, listen to music, browse the web. But of course, like Guild said, PS2 has a wider selection of games than the PSP.

You should also be wary of Craig's list.

Why be wary of it? I've sold a lot of stuff on it already. As for the "watch movies, listen to music, browse the web" thing, well...

My Zune plays music, and video.
My DSi plays music, and browses the web.
My computer does all of that. And since it needs wifi...XD I think I might go for the PS2.

Go for the psp and put custom firmware on it. Then you have portable snes, nes, genesis, playstation etc.
Also you can listen to your music while playing games on the psp.

Problem is, there're a lot of games I want for of them. (Also, the PSP with 3 games is now $50) And since Gamestop sells a lot of the games I want for both...T_T

Get the psp hack and then download games. You can also borrow a game and use the psp to rip them. Maybe you can rent games and then rip them if psp games are rented.

Do you already have (an)other game console(s)? If you do, you should save up for something in the next generation. That's what I would do. It's already been over 9 years since the PS2 release, and I don't find handheld consoles all that great, unless you like the portability of them, which I don't really care about. I got a PS3 on craigslist for a good price, so I would recommend getting a newer console.
