[Need Help] Can't get split nsp files to work

Been trying to download pikmin 4 using usb and tinfoil but since it can't recieve files over 4 gb i used nspsplitty so now the files are on (01,02,03)file format and tinfoil is unable to read the file, do i have to merge them and change the files to .nsp? I wonder if it's a problem with my download

You don't need to split if you are doing usb install.

Use DBI MTP, it's super fast and realiable, no need to split any files, at all.
