Hello guys, i'm new here!

I have some problem with NFS the run on my PC so i thought someone here might be able to land me a hand.

To be exact i dont have the problem with the game, but the controlls.

I cant use my PS2 dualshock controller that works on every single game i have on my PC. When controller is PLUGGED in USB the cas drifts and wont shift gear in automatic transmission and keyboard is a mess, but when i unplug it the controlls on keyboard are normal but i cant plug and unplug my controller every time i want to play nfsm, and besides i want to use the controller, not the keyboard.

Is there some way to fix this or at least to make the game NOT see the controller so i can use JoyToKey to map keyboard to gamepad AT LEAST?

Thanks in advance! :)

Is there no option to disable the pad from within the game or map its things to pointless stuff?

Anyway http://www.intelliadmin.com/index.php/usb-disabler-pro-manual/ might be able to get it done (not sure if the free version on http://www.intelliadmin.com/index.php/downloads/ will do it), or you could try enabling and disabling it from within device manager. Sadly I don't have a proper USB jail for windows.

If it was not a game and I could not narrow down the problem I would probably stuff it into a virtual machine and pipe through some kind of joy2key arrangement.

Windows does have a few different methods of interacting with joypads and it is conceivable that your device and all the other games mostly use one method but NFS uses another. I would also have to ask if it thinks one button is held down all the time -- various buttons being held down would possibly see it think one of the force shifts is being held, or something to make it drift.

Hello!
Thank you for your answer, however, i managed to fix it.
I found some files on some website that i cant link as new user, but ill try to elaborate what i did tomorrow.

Thank you again!

Although, it was strange, i never had that problem before even without x360ce.

Ok so i solved the problem with controller by using these dll files.

github(com)/ jacobmischka/ ds4-in-wine/ tree/ master/ xbox360cemu.v.3.0
(since i'm a new member the website doesn't allow me to post full link so...you'll figure it out)

I placed them inside installation folder where .exe is.

And than just ran x360ce software to configure buttons, and it worked!
Strangely, none other dll's or options worked except this one!
