Gaming Need for speed prostreets

When i go for the 2 player option in nfsps and player 1 has made al his chooses the game says player 2 push button A
but nothing happens.

How can i get the second wii remote to work??
I pushed button 1 and 2 like in wii sports but that doesn't work

Can somebody help me???

Maybe a dumb question, but did you doublecheck if the batteries are still okay?

It works fine here, have you tried activating the second controller before you start the game or maybe it's the + button you have to press, can't remember.

yes it is!!

somebody told me to this:
Press the Home button on your player 1 remote. Select Reconnect to connect both your Wii remotes by pressing 1 and 2 simultaneously. After both of them have been connected, you should be able to play with both remotes.

Is this the only way????
