Hacking Need flexible ribbon cable for NDSL

My nephew's Nintendo DS Lite was damaged when he accidently sat on it and pushed the screen open all the way back. It appears that he broke the flexible ribbon cable leading to the upper display.

Does anyone know where I might be able to purchase and how to replace this cable?

It would be easiest to just replace the whole top screen. One thing to note: the DS lite transfers sound through that cable, so if you wish to still be able to use the speakers, you will have to do some soldering

I just ordered the top screen with the wire attached...hopefully it will come with everything I need.

As long as you have got a tri wing screwdriver (as you have to open the bottom case as well) and a small soldering iron and a bit of solder. The speakers are soldered to the ribbon in the top half of the shell.
