Hardware Hacking Misc Need advice on old super slim ps3 unit

I have a super slim ps3 unit that has issue with display port. The ps3 turns itself off after a few sec. Not sure if there is an easy fix for this.
Also is it now possible to hack the super slim ps3?

A short on the motherboard can cause this. If a short is detected the PSU switches off all the power as a safety feature i guess. Wifi/Bluetooth module failure seems to be a common on slims/SS and will cause this.
