Homebrew Need a good RPG

Hey guys, i was just wondering if there is any game out there that is full RPG, where you level up, explore dungeons (dont mind if its the same one) get new armor, and one that i can just come back and play over and over. I've searched everywhere and the only one that tickles my fancy is POWDER, which is a homebrew app, and im really enjoying it, except for the perma death, and the terrible chat, and overall description of the game, but this is to be expected for such a small production. sorry if this is the wrong thread, i thought ds games in general came under emulation, and by any luck there will be a homebrew game. I made an account just to post this. Thankyou in advance, im open to try any game,

Will I hate playing the same game over and over , but there is only one game that I like and yes It will make you play it over and over again try Golden Sun 1 , Golden Sun : The Lost Age , Golden Sun: Dark Dawn , Pokemon Plat or Black or Embreld.( oww my bad two not one )

Away : Shuffle Dungeon for something quirky
Etrian Odyssey 1, 2, 3
Pokemon Mystery Dungeon

And on the Wii, I'd recommend Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo's Dungeon

Rune Factory 3 and Shin Megami Tensei are pretty amazing.

Final Fantasy 3 its not homebrew but it is amazing.

You should check out Anguna: Warrior of Virtue for the DS and Ature via Atari 2600 emulation for the DS.

some may not like the graphics, lack of story, etc, but i found both games to be extremely enjoyable and fun until the very end.

don't forget the hundreds of rpgs you could play for nes, sega master system, sega game gear, gameboy, turbografx-16, etc, using emulation on the ds. there are some real gems for many of the older systems.
