@CorruptJon:
I haven't seen it, but she has, and she hated it. Thanks for the idea though
@Jax:
We love that flick, she prefers the ABC Miniseries to the Kubrick classic however. She's a HUGE fan of horror novels and likes the miniseries because its a lot closer to the book (and steven webber is a lot creepier as Jack, because he's so nice looking, but flips out). Thank you though
@PyroJames:
Asian is cool. American rehash of asian is not. I think she was checking on A Tale Of Two Sisters. Is that one dealing with... erm... menstrual cycles at some point? (she was reading about it from the other room to me aloud, and thats all that stuck with me.)
Ooo, Suspiria. I should really just snag a bunch of argento's work. Never seen them, but heard they are just amazing. Talked about Rosemary's Baby in an earlier post. Actually, The Thing is on our list. Just "rented" that yesterday, so its ready to go
I think, all but Black Christmas have already been watched (from the rest of the list). Thanks
@DeMoN:
We have both seen all of Shamalammadingdongs movies. She enjoys em, i only really liked Lady In The Water. Scratch that, i LOVE Lady in the Water, but his other movies have not been my cup of tea. Wife® actually has two friends IN The Village, and a gentleman she's met numerous times in Lady In The Water (the kinda recluse guy that sits and watches TV all the time. Yea, that guy)
@JPH:
Seen it, loved it. Looking for more along those lines of classic/good shit
@Dwight:
LOVE Pegg, Frost, Write, Hynes (nee Stevenson) movies and shows. Cannot wait for "The World's End." (the third movie in the Blood & Icecream Trilogy... i.e. SotD, Hot Fuzz and un-made third, which will be that
)
@bangbanger:
Love. That. Show. We've been watching since episode one. Missed the first ep. of Season 4, but caught ep2 and we're right back in. Great reference though!
@TrolleyDave:
Dude, fantastic list. A combination of some that we've seen (and love), a few that have been referenced to us by other people (in person), and others i've never heard of, that i'll definitely look more into!
Fulci & Argento are two names of which i just need to collect their entire works. Gates Of Hell, Susperia, Inferno and Two Evil Eyes are the ones that are going to be first to be looked at. (i mean, Argento and Romero together, how can you go wrong
)
Also- Phantasm - Never fully seen any of those, but i've caught bits & pieces of those. I should REALLY check em all out, in terms of full movies. They do look like good fun.
@Devante:
GREAT movie. Thats one of my classics
@FAST6191:
Oldboy is a fantastic movie. Own that one. Shikoku, i have no idea. Wristcutters... why do i know that name? I was looking at that for some reason. I might have to see about getting ahold of that
. Fragiles - Again, no idea, but i'll look into it!
Thanks!
@noONE:
I'd type it all again, but in short, we LOVE that show. More of an answer from a post above
@Ducky:
I didn't like that one so much, but Wife® loved that in the theater. Tis a good creepy movie though.
Thanks guys for the wonderful ideas. Trolley, i think you get the current award for "most useful" post. Imma hafta look through all of these and see what we really like.
Thanks guys!! You ROCK!
