ROM Hack Need a bit of help here...

Hey I was wondering, is it possible to transfer an Pokemon Black save file from a Japanese ROM to an English ROM? Thanks.

If you have a spare flash card and a spare DS, you could probably trade them.

Or you could use Pokesav/Pokegen to copy the .pkm and upload it onto the other .sav

Ok, so I can't do the first one, I have only 1 DS and 1 R4 Upgrade Revolution card. I'm not so sure what you mean by the second one, never used pokesav/pokegen before although I have heard of people using them before.

Just rename the save file to that of the English rom.

What machomuu said. He wanted to transfer the save file, not the pokemon. Pokesav won't really do anything useful except editing the names to English.

So basically rename the Pokemon Black (JP).sav to Pokemon Black (US).sav (this is just an example, obviously depends on what your roms are called)

K thanks, before this I have tried a couple of US ROMS but they have not worked with the JP save it just says ROM load error.
