If you played the GBA version of Catz, Dogz is basically the same thing as that, only with well...dogs. These two games are so different...I don't know why Ubisoft did it that way.

MTO (developers of GBA Catz/Dogz games) had already released a dog game in Japan, but not a cat one. And Ubisoft wanted to release both Catz and Dogz for the DS at the same time, so they licensed MTO's game as Dogz, and commissioned a western developer to make Catz from scratch (no pun intended, I swear).

man, that theme is frikkin' creepy.

this game sucks pretty bad too, the cat clipz in and out of stuff all the time. the sound samplez are choppy too.

but the kittenz do ignore you just like real catz. then they chase ballz around like retardz.

for some reason, you just keep getting coinz for nothing too.

can't wait to play hamsterz and horsez.

i love to change water bottlez and polish saddlez.

ubisoft is fast beccoming the new EA, all of their recent releasez on ds and wii have been garbagez.

It's sad to see what Ubisoft did to the Petz series of Virtual Pets.
Back in the day Petz was all about AI and actual virtual pet simulation, now Ubisoft turned my beloved Petz series into nothing but simple, idiotic kiddy games.

Petz 4 was the last good Petz installment, there was voice recognition and everything, after that it all started going downhill, BIG TIME. Petz 5 was a digrace to the series IMO, they removed the voice recognition and instead added some retarded mini-games making the virtual pet program feel more like a game for 3 year olds than an actual pet simulator, not only that but they completely ruined the Desktop Mode in Petz 5, you couldn't have your Petz running in the background while working with other applications because every time the Petz application would lose focus it would minimize rendering your petz inactive.
They didn't even both to get some issues the Petz series had since Petz 3 sorted out, everything was more or less the same, except in Petz 5 you could actually have litters.

Still Petz 5 wasn't that bad, but this, this is just pathetic!

Torture the Cat code:
Press Up,down, up, down, left, left, left, a, left, x, x,a, b,a,x,x,x,a,left, left down, select, then draw a pic of a pillow sack on the touch screen and the cat will jump in it and then you can swing him around in the air.

Also there is a laser pointer code that will make the cat run into walls!
