I actually got a Guilty Verdict on Case One. Either they made the game harder or I should feel really bad. The whole thing with Presenting Profiles and Evidence now threw me off.

Yeah, I just got stuck on case 2, trial day 1, and so I'll have to do that over. Then again, its similar to a few times in the first game, where I knew one specific thing was wrong, but it wouldn't let me present that evidence at the time, and I missed something else apparently.

Yeah, this game, like they say in the story, asks you to sometimes get 'outside the box'. Even if you know where the contradiction and know which evidence to put forward, the characters don't necessarily think like you do, and the judge/jury needs the proofs to be put in the right order.

Just look in the first case. I caught up early that you'd be 'calling' on that phone as a proof, but first they threw you off with that question about either 'checking the contact list' or the other one I forgot. Even if its plain obvious for us, our friend Judge needs something concrete building up to it first

If its like the original one, there's a 5th case that you can unlock if you do a GBA linkup with the GBA Gyakuten Saiban 2.

They unlocked it by default for the US release inthe first game since we don't have access to the original GBA game by normal mans, obviously.

You misunderstood what that "code" was. It was for those who already owned GS1 for the GBA that wanted to jump straight to case 5 on the DS version. The GBA version was not required to play case 5.

There is no case 5 in GS2.

Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney
GBA Game: Gyakuten Saiban

Special Features:

Unlocks Episode 5 (only works with Japanese version).

I'd hardly call that a 'code' mind you, it was an unlockable feature. I thought that perhaps there was the same thing in the second game since they had mentionned a possible extra case before.

What are you trying to prove? We're just letting u know there is no case 5 in GS2 no matter what you do. Maybe for PW2, but there is only 4 cases for GS2.

Has anyone got past case 2? It seems a lot of us are stuck on day one there...
I'm still stuck there too, and it's beginning to get really annoying. The first game was better when it came to presenting evidence, in this one it seems as there are too many correct choices. I refuse to look up what to do next, since figuring it out yourself is the fun part.

Despite that, I'm really enjoying this game, especially in the first case where the guy goes crazy and starts mashing up his face

The less calm they are, the closer you are to solving the case

I must say that all of those we see in PW games are pretty colorful when it comes to that. Their panic attack is funny

Yeah Case 2 part 1 is definitely much too strict; there are a lot of open possibilities, but the game will only recognise the one. Best way to go about it is to keep just 1 step ahead... I pretty much realised what was going on as soon as Morgan spoke to me after the 'incident' but I got real screwed when trying to piece together the stupid evidence - so much restarts required!

But part 2 was a breeze. I went through it quickly and without a single mistake made. Maybe I just had to get into the groove again? Last I played was PW last year o.O. Can't wait til the 4th case as everyone's been fussing over it's greatness

Case 4 is baffling.. and after you've solved the puzzle.. a matter of morals and judgement are needed to finish the case up.

There are few legit objections that you can throw but the game doesn't recognize it.. so some of the mysteries are left unsolved.

i remember one from GS1 - Rise from Ashes... And that is, why was Lana Skye wearing Detective Goodman's coat? And if it wasn't detective goodman's coat, how come the blood splatter was in the same exact position.. blahblah.

There's also one i noticed with case 4 for this game.. but i won't go into that.. ;p

The game 2nd case really picks up in the second part, and so does the humor. The doctor is one of the best characters in the game, and the Lord of the Rings reference caught me by surprise. I was able to piece together the true story nearly at the beginning, though. Is the rest of the game like this, or is there more suspense?

Does anyone have a save for Case 2, day one? I'd really appreciate it. I saved just before I lost the case (I thought I was on the right track). Damn the screwed up logic of that case, I keep wanting to present the same evidence.

Restarting the entire case is not very appealing to me

If you have a save from anywhere on day one can you pm it to me please? Thanks guys.

Case 2 has got me interested on how they worked this in the Japanese version...

Where the car is a British one, so the driver's seat is on the right side. Japanese cars' are also on right side...so which country would they reference in the original script?

I mean American cars are what first comes to mind, but then again, I'd have first thought a Japanese car would be used in the English localisation, not a British one...

There's not much suspense in Case 3... Everything in Case 4 is blatantly obvious after the first day. you only have to solve how the murder was pulled off.

Case 4 though.. Case 4 will keep you on the edge of your seat.. you'll also keep saying wtf, one after another.
