The Japanese Pokemon logo pisses on the American one. Just saying. The US one has been the same since 1996 or whenever they came up with it, it just looks completely out of place on the title screen of the later games.

those boaxarts are awesome!

no love for the pearl version, eh?

at the time that I'm posting this, there are over 85 people in the diamond thread and just over 20 here. the line has been drawn and the sides chosen, I guess.

like all of the previous pokemon titles, the pokemon that you can catch in the wild vary by version (some pokemon are available in both versions, while others are specific to one version or the other). the trading component of the game was the driving force of [sharing] your pokemon experience with others.

that's probably the case, but seeing as the games aren't technically supposed to street for another 9 hrs in japan, nintendo has always just teased the audience with the features of the game, giving away only a few of the differences and leaving it to the players to [experience] the games and find out the "secrets" for themselves (or wait for a walkthru from one of the japanese gaming magazines or strategy guides).

when I was authoring "official" guides, there was information which was considered "off limits", and we couldn't discuss within the book, even if we wanted to put it in a sealed section. this was all part of nintendo's marketing strategy of not revealing everything and having its players actually discover little secrets on their own. (it makes sense from a marketing point of view, but the u.s. and u.k. audiences would rather have *all* of the information rather than work through stuff that the japanese thrive on.

Works on Supercard SD. Figure the settings out for yourself.

Just kidding.

Enable Patch Cartridge = On.

(You can bet they'll change that for the english version. :/ )

Wish I could read Japanese.

Serebii has been updating pretty much every tiny thing he's come across. He already said which fossils go to which version a month ago. If you do eventually get stuck, wait for Serebii's post, or you could snoop around GameFAQs.
