It's been 2 months since I bought my NDSL , and now my A and D-Pad UP buttons need to pushed slightly more hard. Do I have to get them replaced or is it simply enough to open the DS casing and try to clean the contacts?

if you feel comfortable with this kinda work, you might try that (personally, I wouldnt, looks too complicated for me)

Thank you for replying , and yeah.. I tend to agree with you now regarding the contacts. It's hardly been two months and it's already on the fritz :/

Shame there isn't any authorized service centre here locally , I guess I'll have to take it to an expert.

It's not the buttons, but the button pads that need replacing.
