I just bought a DSI XL on eBay. I ended up changing the face buttons and dpad to another color. DSI was working fine. But the next day When I turned it on there was a white flash on the edges of the screen ( both top and bottom) and then the screens started flickering. They both flicker for like 30 seconds then turning on the device then go back to normal. I tried re-seating all the ribbon cables but I'm still having issues. I also ended up adjusting the potentiometer. I noticed if I tried to turn it in one direction to much when I boot the device that screen flash would burn in the UI for for that second. Anyone have a suggestion on what the issue is.
UPDATE: it just ended up fixing itself after half a day. I'm not getting any wierd boot artifacts which caused the flickering. Not sure what the problem was.
