You can retrieve/save the fully 8MB save from/to "Daigasso! Band Brothers DX" cartridge by using any Slot2 Development Tools, such as EZ4, SuperCard, and M3 Perfect/Lite. You need to use "NDS Backup Tool Slot2 v031" tool for this purpose. You need to patch to the tool in order to allow it to access fully 8MB address range as follows;

This is a quote from the DBBDX release thread.
Since Jam with the Band seems to also use a 8MB save file, I tried that to see if it would dump it.
However, it didn't seem to work.

It is possible the game actually uses a 16 or 32MB save file. Is anyone experienced enough to know how to patch the Backup Tool to let it access 16/32 MB save files?

The english release uses nand nor eeprom and uses entirely different ways of reading/writting to the save. This new method hasn't been reverse engineered and probably wont be given its only used in Jam with the Band and Made in Wario.

Well that's too bad.
I guess if we want songs from the European Wi-Fi download, we'll have to manually reproduce them.
