The Nintendo Web Browser needs extra RAM to work, and both the GBA expansion pack or the Rumble RAM versions of the M3 DS contain RAM and can be used. You'll need to patch the ROM though.

I came on to ask a similar question, and it seems right along this query. I'm currently about to buy an M3 Real to upgrade my Simply (though just saw the DSTT review posted....)

In reviewing the various packs for M3 Real, there's the Rumble RAM, GBA, and Rumble and GBA. But, none with Rumble RAM and GBA. Does the GBA cart provide the additional memory of the Rumble RAM? Does the ROM need to be patched for either the rumble RAM or GBA, or just the GBA?
