Hacking NDS Touch screen is off

I have a NDS Phat NDS, but the touch screen is off by 1/2 inch or so, even when I try to calibate, I just keep hitting the cross and its never ending? Do you think if I buy a new touch screen will it fix it or is it in the board?

Calibate? Is that when touch screens masturbate?

Send it to Ninty if you have warranty still. Or you can buy a replacement touch screen using google.

Don't the NDS and NDS lite have an upper cover on the touch screen that sometimes get worn? I know the DS lites do sometimes all you have to do is replace it.

Yeah they are called the touch screen that goes above the LCD screen

your in for a tough job though... while replacing the touch screen, the hinge where the connector is placed, was very hard to get back on.. mine broke

this might be a bit risky if you dont know what your doing but if that was me (which did happen) i would open up the ds and seperate the two screens
then clean the space in between with something dry not wet and just stick it back toghether.
it should be working perfectly

myclock, that hinge is only on the lite and he wont have to replace the screen since its just off, not broken

ok thanks, just buy a new one off ebay, hopefully its easy to replace....
