Gaming Nds Screens acting weird

Okay so I have a nds lite which I haven't used for nearly two years. So I picked the thing up again and I noticed the screens are acting funny. They have less colors and stripes all over it. Pretty annoying, what can I do with this?

You might have to replace them.
You can get the screens from a place like DX.

You will need a top screen and a bottom one, make sure you get the right ones.

yes i also have it..the screens ribbon cable is either broken or loose
