Hacking NDS Lite Won't Turn On

I have had this issue for the past week or so, and I do not know what's wrong with my DS. I turn on the on / off switch, and the green LED turns on but the screens and sound are unresponsive.

So I Google'd the issue, and the results all tell me something like a piece fell off and they just had to solder it back on. I ordered a screwdriver to open it up, and yesterday I get to dissembling it. However, I found that there were no pieces broken off or even loose pieces. I compared it to a DS Lite circuit board picture and everything seemed normal. I disconnected the two wires and reconnect them just in case, then I reassemble my DS. However my DS still does not turn on.

Any suggestions on what it might be specifically?

Um, I thought it was just some fault wiring or something. IDK anything else. I'm of course not nearly as knowledgeable as some other people.

It seems like an odd issue though. Most people just get a broken screen or something else.

the only thing that comes to my mind is the battery but that is probably not likely

Does the green light turn for a brief second?

If that's the case it's either your F1 fuse or F2 fuse. I had the same problem.

Had that issue as well. A soldering iron and some solder will do the trick.

If the light only comes on for a few seconds then it is your F1 or F2 fuse that was blown.

Only try this fix if you know what you are doing and if it is an issue with a blown fuse.

The light stays on, so I don't think it's a blown fuse.
