Gaming NDS error - "load rom errcode=-4"

Hi all,
I'm new to this, so please be gentle with me.

My son's R4 card for his DS has suddenly stopped working. With most games, it stops loading and gives the error message "load rom errcode=-4". However, on some games the error code is -6 and on some it just has a white screen. I've downloaded the latest firmware from www.r4i-sdhc.com, which is where I bought the card last year.

Can anybody help please?

I think your best bet is to just format the sd card
Maybe copy all the games on it to your computer
