The DS's cart/bus limit is in effect, which is why most people say to just go for a Class 4 or Class 6. You want to be safe and get a not-shit MicroSD (if you get one that's too crappy it will cause issues), but going crazy won't do much good.

You can't natively run GBA games from Slot-1. You either need a Slot-2 cart, or to use emulation. The DSTwo's emulation works even on 3/DS models that don't have a Slot-2, but it doesn't work the other way.

AFAIK the browser expansion is not technically useful for GBA stuff as it lacks it's own boot code and junk, it's just dumb RAM.

Ah OK, so I'm guessing the supercard ds2 tries to pretend that it's a "small" game then right? I'm just guessing since as I said before it was talked about being slower. I'll definitely just use that class 4 I got from amazon. It's ~20$ including shipping, and is 32GB. I'll definitely just get a supercard then(to future proof myself to some degree). I'm hoping to order it next month(birthday money and such). I'll just use the gcw's emulator then since the thing'll be a bit more natural for me since it's emulation anyway.

The emulators they have are really cool. If I had already gotten the supercard I'd probably not have gotten it but I decided to take the leap well after it. Anyway yeah, thanks for all the information. Here's hoping that they identify themselves to the (3)/ds/(i) as a smaller game so the speed isn't capped, or that nintendo doesn't cap the bus speed, but instead it's the flash memory.

Also the AFFP is a legit sandisk product now too. I got one and it comes in an official sandisk packaging, and also has the full warranty paper and the sandisk site/rep confirmed that my product is legit and carries the full/real warranty.

Ignore this post. I need it deleted. I just realized that the ds doesn't do gb/gbc and having to use an emulator/slow startups for the flashcarts makes it not worth it. I'm definitely just going to do dstwo.
