Hacking NDS backup adaptor plus & Pokemon SS help

Hi i just got a NDS backup adaptor plus & backed up SS retail save & the save file of retail SS was 4Mbit (not 512kb)
i have played it on my ak2i & its save is 512kb(set it that way to use with pokesav)
is there a way to convert it to the save file size i want?
because i don't want to lose all my hard trained pokemon

4Mbit (Megabit) = 512KB (KiloByte)

There isn't anything wrong with the save size. It takes 8 bits to make 1 byte.

If you don't want to lose your stuff, make a backup somewhere on the computer.

i just want to transfer it to my retail cart & aparently the save file size is 4MB for retail carts so
it may give me corrupt data if i transfer it.

Do it anyway. I have an NDS Backup Adapter Plus, and I do it all the time. 4Mbits=512KBytes
