Hacking NAND Backup

I just wanna say that this community seems great. I just softmodded my Wii yesterday and today I got to thinking about how I didn't make a NAND backup because Bootmii could only be installed as an IOS and I don't have a GC controller.

Is there any other apps that I could use to make a NAND backup/restore, I know at this point it's probably useless since I've already softmodded the Wii.

So do I have any alternative to restore the Wii back to exactly how it was before I softmodded it?

(I'm just trying to think ahead of the game here)

Thanks that helps, I'll give that a shot with Bootmii when my little brother brings the wii back home.

So if I go into Bootmii (and take control of it) and make a NAND backup at this point (after already softmodding), the backup would be useless or useful for later if it bricks up?
