Hi all, I have been trying to find the solution to my problem online and here in the forum but despite having seen some similar problems I did not find a solution yet.

Here's what happened. I have my 3ds with CFW, I was at 11.6 version when I first did it last year. I updated to 11.8, but today I was reading about the posibility to get banned and I decided to safely restore my NAND to the backup I did when I was at 11.6

It worked, I downgraded my version (it was probably unnecesary though). The problem is my games are all gone (I didn't have any games on when I created the backup, I thought that was normal). Only system apps and custom CFW apps were present.

To my surprise, all the Miis I had created were there, my homescreen layout options were saved, even a picture I took with my console was there. I was expecting my game saves to be there as well after reinstalling the game.

When I plugged my sd card in my pc I discovered I could not copy any cias to it. It is full (just as full as it was before that is). Somehow, the games are still there, but they are not showing.

I don't know if I need to install my games again, or whether or not I will lose my saves. I don't mind. But I want to get my console to play games again.

How do I free the space the games left? or even better, is there anyway to get my games to appear again (since they seem to be there somewhere)??

I hope you guys can help me, thanks in advance!

The issue you are having is mostly due to missing tickets. The games are on the SD but won't show cause the nand backup didn't include the tickets for those games to display. There are some tool out there, you can get them from FBI, that can install all tickets and then use another tool to remove all unnecesary tickets. That should fix it.

I tried what you said. The games still appear under titles in FBI. They don't show up titles of the games thoug, only a bunch of numbers. Trying to load them doesn't work. Either an error message or a black screen and back to the home screen after some seconds.

I could try to uninstall the games from here.... Should I?

Issue fixed. I missunderstood the first reply and I didn't read the second one on time.

My data saves have been lost (lesson learned, I must backup more often). At the end I couldn't use any online services and I had to go back to lastest version... So my nand restore was a real waste of time...and still I can't play Tetris ultimate online.

Back to topic, to fix the issue I uninstalled the games with FBI, in titles, they appeared as green numbers. Then I deleted all unused tickets (then I realized what the first reply ment... I could have simply reinstated the tickets). This emptied my sd card, loaded the games and installed the games. Very time consuming, but effective nonetheless.

Thanks for your help, I hope this serves as future reference for other people.

If your throat closes, putting oxygen in your mouth will not solve anything - as you will be introducing oxygen prior to the area of obstruction

    Just kiss me Kyle.
  • x65943 @ x65943:
You either need to be intubated to bypass obstruction or create a stoma inferior to the the area of obstruction to survive
