ROM Hack N64 rom hack port?

I really doubt it but does anyone think there's any possibility of porting n64 roms to the 3ds? I just found a rom hack for majoras mask and I would love to play it on my 2ds xl.

You can try. But your best bet is going to be the pc version of the n64 emu and run it on there.

I mean, maybe you could port some of the features of the ROM Hack to the 3DS remake of Majora's Mask, but even that's pushing it, as the game is most likely running different code and using different containers for data (and there comes the matter of reverse-engineering and editing said containers to hold new data, assuming there's no existing documentation on them, which there probably isn't).

It probably isn't worth all the time and effort just to play the hack on your 3DS. If you really want to play the hack on the go, grab a Bluetooth controller with a clamp and play it on your phone. I've heard from many that 8bitdo makes good controllers, so you may want to check those out.
