My new 3ds xl heats for some reason. it starting a week ago when i was play fire emblem if for 15 mins. Should I be worried?

If its only warm then it's probably fine. The new 3ds should get a little warm If your playing games that make use of the faster hardware. It will also get warm especially while charging it.
