So I set up this 3ds with Luma 9.1 using the guide at https://3ds.hacks.guide/installing-boot9strap-(ntrboot). It worked great for the few days that I had it. Then I gave it away as a Christmas gift to my kid's piano teacher. He said it worked for a few days, then started getting ARM11 exception errors. He said one of his kids was able to get it to work somehow, but now it won't do anything. I finally got my hands back on it today, and indeed, it won't do anything. Hit power and you see a blue light for about 1 second. The screens do nothing. I have tried removing the SD card, cartridge, battery. I have a clone of his SD card from before I gave it to him. Put the clone SD card in (like an actual brand new micro SD) to no avail. I cannot get it to load GM9 or Luma config. I have also tried booting into recovery mode using L+R+A+UP. I did replace the boot.firm with the latest luma release.
Does anyone have any suggestions? I have spent the afternoon going through forums, but most of the info I was seeing I think was from the pre B9S era.
